Join local naturalist and DAS Board Member Jared Merriman on a birding adventure along the Little Miami River. The river provides excellent migratory and nesting habitat for some of Dayton’s most striking birds. Target species include Scarlet Tanager, Pileated Woodpecker, Prothonotary Warbler, Yellow-throated Warbler, Northern Parula, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, and Barred Owl. Bring bug spray, water, and shoes appropriate for muddy trails.
